ORN: With one week to go until the marathon, I ran a hilly 9.6 miles in 1:35'00". That might be a PR for the 15K, but I am too lazy to do the math. I ran from my in-laws house in Elk Creek, Kentucky, to downtown Taylorsville and back. It was a five-mile out-and-back down Highway 55, nice run except for the long, endless, country hills. They wore me out something fierce.
Afterward, I had chocolate milk and a ham sandwich for lunch.
This was my last long run before next week. I'm beginning to get excited about the trip. I'm especially looking forward to eating something exciting in Chicago. Any suggestions?

About me
I'm a 30-something computer nerd who took up running a few years ago and got addicted. Now I blog about it, keep spreadsheets about it, have a couple paper journals for logging it, and ... well, I'm a mess.
