ORN: Today, I ran 8 miles in 1:23'57". About two of those miles were on muddy trails, and I intended to do more, but my ankles were getting a little sore. The two miles of trail were tough, but I enjoyed them more than the other six. On trails, I have something immediate to think about -- where am I going to put my foot? -- so my mind doesn't wander or, worse, get bored.
Afterward, I stretched nice and easy, then returned home for a modest lunch of sardines and crackers. Yum! I like Sundays. I'm going to step away from this computer and enjoy the rest of it.
