Claim every victory

A fellow Virtual Racer gave me this advice after I bragged about running five miles for the first time since forever: claim every victory, no matter how small. That advice is the best I've received in recent memory, so here I am writing about it.

And more than that, here I am claiming my victory! This month, I was the winner in the five mile division of the Virtual Race over at Running Ahead. I totally pwned all those other punk-ass bitches in my division and left them crying. Like a gazelle, I swept [virtually] through the race course, and like some kind of souped up [virtual] race car, I effortlessly left all my [non-existent] fellow racers in my dust. If you could see me right now, you'd see me doing all those corny bodybuilder poses and saying "Oh yeah! Welcome to the gun show, baby!"
