Spring sprung

ORN: Five kilometers in about 31:00. That's not accurate because I forgot to start my watch for about a short block, but if it is, that means I ran a sub-10 mile. Rawk! Sixty-one miles behind the pace bunny -- Suck!

The good. What made today's run spectacular was the weather. Clear, sunny, and 61° -- spring sprang, if only for today. The bad. I didn't quite have it in me to run more than 5 km. The ugly. Nothing to bitch about apart from forgetting to set my watch. I'm a data geek, as I have said before, and it bugs me when I cannot be precise.

Tomorrow, I intend to run with my peeps -- the Ken Combs Running Store team. I plan to run the 7.7 mile course, which would be 1.7 miles longer than I have ever run. I'm a tad intimidated, but I believe I can do it. That might be all I do tomorrow, but we shall see. My body has been surprising me lately.

300 comes out today. Some of my comrades are going to see it tonight. It looks pee-pants good. I loved the comic book, and every picture and video clip I have seen thus far has made me giggle with geek glee. If I go see it tonight, I won't get much sleep ahead of tomorrow's run. Hmm....
