ORN: Six miles in 1:04:38.
As I have said several times before, I've been depressed lately so I've skipped a few runs. Specifically, I skipped all the weekend runs, choosing instead to sleep in a couple hours rather than do something that might actually help myself.
This morning run, as usual, was awesome. The weather was nigh perfect, and I saw about seven deer. The first crossed the road, and I thought, "Cool... a deer." Then, a mile or so later, a family of deer crossed the road and ran through some front yards in the direction opposite mine. I counted six, but it was hard to see. The margin of error is +/- 2 deer.
I fully intended to run last night, but the Mexican food I ate decided to play piƱata with my stomach. I kept waiting to feel like I wasn't going to heave, but bedtime came before that happened. It's frustrating because I intentionally ordered a relatively light dish so I wouldn't feel heavy and so I could run later. I could have eaten steakos rancheros or carnitas or something for as bloated as I felt.
