Running under a cloud

ORN: Today, which was cloudy and mild, I ran five miles in 53:52. It wasn't the fastest I've ever run, but I only took one walk break. I also had to power through some foot discomfort early on. My right foot plantar fasciitis is getting better with the stretches I've been doing, but it's not totally gone. I saw one duck family with a single duckling, and a Canadian goose family with one gosling. I also saw a cool looking orange bird I'd never seen before.

I'm getting a little addicted to a free MMORPG called Air Rivals [formerly known as Airsys and/or SCO]. It'd be more accurate to call it a MMOFSWRPGSTI. It's not the most fun thing I've ever done, nor is the feature-set all that rich, and I, the most casual of gamers, find the language, jargon, metaphors, and so forth are sort of hard to get into. Someone who's put in the hours at Air Rival's former incarnations, or MMORPGs in general, will probably not be such a clueless old fogie. I'm sure if I had the ability to devote the hours to reading all the boards, and playing and playing and playing, then I would be a pro at it because I love flight sim games. [One of my favorites of all time was the Freespace series.]

BTW, I voted today in the Kentucky primary. For whom I voted is irrelevant since Kentucky is Hillary country. I'd be happy with either candidate so long as they beat the snot out of McCain.
