ORN: This morning, I ran 6.3 miles in 01:10'58", up and down some hills, past Zachary Taylor National Cemetery, and past my daughter's elementary school. Now, at 10 AM on a Sunday, I have my day ahead of me, and my runs for the week behind me. It's a good feeling.
I had no major revelations on today's run, but I did run in the cold for the first time. It was around 40° when I started out, and my fingers got to be pretty cold, even if the rest of me was OK. Winter running is ahead. That's a good thing. I'd rather run in the cold than in the heat any day.
Next week, I'm shooting for 12-13 miles.
